Bio

Christopher Six is a passionate advocate of community journalism with more than 30 years in the media, corporate communications and marketing. An award-winning designer, columnist, illustrator, photographer and newsroom leader, his is a respected voice in journalism ethics. A veteran reporter, he has created and taught news writing seminars for community colleges and the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association.
  • Served as a judge for New Jersey Press Association Awards in infographics and illustration
  • Virginia Press Association recognition awarded in April 2017:
    1st Place: 2016 Excellence of sports pages --with the sports and design staff
    2nd Place: 2016 General makeup — with staff
  • In April 2018, The Fauquier Times was recognized by the Virginia Press Association as the best non-daily newspaper in Virginia with a circulation of 7,000 or more
